Presenter: Zach Richards, Southern New Hampshire University
Do Excel formula like =IF(VLOOKUP(B2,C2:T152,15,FALSE)=0,"SS Check In",(VLOOKUP(B2,C2:T152,15,FALSE))) lead to you go running away and screaming "I can't do this!"? Perfectly understandable! There are 300+ different types of formulas in Excel which can be daunting. Most of us have basic knowledge of Excel through our daily work. Whether that is creating reports or even working off of your student spreadsheet, this session will cover two often used formulas Concatenate and VLookUp that will help you to transform your student spreadsheet. Concatenate combines columns such as first name and last name while VLookUp allows the ability to type a student name in and gather the necessary data without tedious scrolling. This session will help advisors understand the basics of Excel and leave with a solid foundation. Attendees will leave with a sample student spreadsheet with both formulas as well as resources to further their new excel knowledge. Only basic Excel knowledge is needed to attend this session! |
