Strategic Support for Students on Accelerated Pre-Health Pathways
Is your institution considering implementing accelerated pathways? These fast tracks often appeal to high-achieving students and those concerned with the cost of their education. However, students often have limited opportunities for exploration and reflection as they progress rapidly through the undergraduate years of their program.
This session will highlight the development, implementation, and outcomes of two high-impact initiatives within our institutional context to advise accelerated pre-occupational therapy, pre-pharmacy, and pre-physical therapy students. Attendees will leave with concrete, transferable resources, including sample syllabi and assignments for pre-health seminars. Our session is grounded in group advising theory and Ignatian-inspired reflective practices. |
