Abstract:
|
Institutional-Level Interdisciplinary Advising for Complex Learning Pathways
As AI and growing demand for self-directed learning reshape academia, advising must address increasing complexity. This poster presents a 'university-level' model where advisors serve as integrators across institutional boundaries.
To manage the vast scale of academic information, this model utilizes a team-based approach, distributing expertise across shared structures and system-supported tools rather than individual advisors. Students use this framework to strategically combine disciplinary knowledge with experiential learning to enhance their academic trajectories. Preliminary results indicate that this centralized, collaborative approach increases student clarity in learning direction and confidence in navigating interdisciplinary opportunities. |
