Abstract:
|
"Regionalism" is a standard of workforce development that informs colleges what academic programs should be offered by linking the economic realities of a geographic location with the potential talent pool. By focusing on the student's geography, this session will introduce and discuss a variety of tools that advisors can implement to connect academics to careers within their regions. We'll explore Odyssey Plans, Career Decision Matrix, how to develop regional expertise and creative workarounds, and more. |
