Abstract:

Peer advising programs come in many shapes and sizes. As with any form of campus involvement, serving as a peer advisor can develop communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, along with boosting confidence. In this session, we will demonstrate how a peer advising class for credit can not only provide structured and ongoing training, but create a pipeline of future professional advisors as well. |
