Abstract:
|
Grant money was leveraged to conduct our institution's first comprehensive, campus-wide review of undergraduate academic advising in partnership with NACADA. Grounded in the Nine Conditions of Excellence in Academic Advising, a program review and outcomes-based surveys elevated student voices and helped our institution identify strengths and opportunities for growth. Data collected from these efforts has allowed our institution to begin implementing reform using the SEER (See, Enact, Evaluate, Revisit) framework, focusing specifically to refine policy and procedures, enhance professional development, and create an assessment model. Attendees will gain strategies for to use assessment data to guide sustainable change in academic advising. |
