In the demanding work of advising your students, do you sometimes feel underappreciated, undervalued, and/or burnt out? Are you presently stuck between 'giving up' or 'going forward'? If you were to write a professional academic advisor diary, what words would describe you presently as it relates to your advisement role? Don't allow a few negative incidents to overshadow the overall impact you are making in the lives of your students. This motivational session is designed to move frontline academic advising personnel, such as yourself, from being a mad academic advisor to a MAD academic advisor. |
