Advisors can come from all walks of life-with different backgrounds and experiences. What do we all have in common? A shared commitment to supporting students and staying current with the best practices in advising. This presentation introduces a responsive model for advisor onboarding and ongoing professional development designed to meet the needs of curious, lifelong learners. Participants will explore strategies to engage advisors in topics that align with their interests, foster continuous growth, and create a culture of adaptability in a rapidly changing educational landscape. By the end of the session, attendees will gain actionable tools to enhance advisor competence, confidence, and connection to their professional community. |
