With a growing number of international students entering the U.S., we will take a closer look at how academic advisors can identify cultural gaps that may cause misunderstandings among international students and apply strategies to help support our international student arrivals navigate the academic system in the U.S. We will delve into reasons why international students choose to study in U.S. universities, current trends of international student placement, and how to incorporate culturally sensitive practices to support these students on their journey. |
