Title: Advising Community Meeting: Theory, Philosophy, & History of Advising Community
Lead Presenter: Ryan Scheckel
Date: October 08, 2021    Time: 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Room: 260/261, DECC
Abstract: The Theory, Philosophy & History of Advising Community supports and encourages members considering the theory, philosophy, and history that undergirds the field of academic advising. In this meeting, we will continue to build our TPH community through discussion of our accomplishments, goals, and plans for the future. Ultimately, we need you to join us to suggest what ideas need further consideration, what questions or theories have gone overlooked, and what problems need solving in new or different ways. Support for new and deeper thinking contributes to the vitality of advising and our professional association. Join us to discuss, ask questions, and offer suggestions for the coming year.
