Abstract:
|
Our university has continuously evolved its academic programs to provide students with greater flexibility through interdisciplinary education, micro-credentials, and self-directed learning options. However, student advising has remained largely passive, with faculty offering minimal guidance unless directly approached. To address the diverse advising needs of students-ranging from those with clear goals to those still exploring-our university proposes a student-centered academic advising model. This approach includes personalized mentorship, proactive faculty engagement, and data-driven decision-making to support students in navigating their academic and career paths effectively. By building an advising framework that aligns with students' unique learning journeys, our university aims to foster a culture of self-directed and interdisciplinary learning. |
